SUBSCRIBER HELP & SERVICES:
Frequently Asked Questions
about Member Subscriptions

  1. Will I receive a password? May I share my password with friends, or is use limited solely to me?

When you complete the subscription process, you will receive a user name and a password. You are the only one licensed to use this password.

  2. What if I forget my password?

We have instructions for what to do if you forget your user name or your password. Details about how to do this will be included as part of the subscription process.

  3. Why should I get a member subscription to NeoReviews?

    Member subscribers have access to:
Tables of contents, abstracts, full text searching, full text display, document delivery, PDFs, links to Medline and GenBank, future tables of contents, interjournal links to other HighWire Press journals, and password access from any computer connected to the Internet.
[Ordering Procedure] [Cost] [ Membership ]

Without a subscription you have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, and full text searching at no cost and without having to register.

  4. How can I tell if my institution has subscribed? How do I get my institution to subscribe?

If your institution has a subscription to NeoReviews, you automatically will have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full text display, PDFs, Medline and GenBank links, and future tables of contents. You'll also see a button at the top of the page confirming that you're signed in as part of an institution. If you would like to have an institutional subscription, please contact your local librarian.

  5. Is there still a paper version of NeoReviews?

Not anymore. NeoReviews was published in print and online in 1999 and 2000. However, in 2001, the online version became the journal of record, and publication of the print edition came to an end.

  6. Who is eligible for a Member Subscription?

American Academy of Pediatrics members are eligible for a discounted subscription to NeoReviews. Members also may have access to NeoReviews through an Institutional Subscription.

  7. How can I access NeoReviews if I am not an American Academy of Pediatrics member and I don't have access through an institutional subscription?

You may wish to apply for an American Academy of Pediatrics membership or you may wish to purchase an Individual (nonmember) subscription. Without a subscription, you have access to tables of contents, abstracts, and full text searching (without full text viewing) at no cost and without having to register.

  8. How do I become a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics?

American Academy of Pediatrics membership information and application forms are available at http://www.aap.org/member/memcat.htm or by calling 800-433-9016, or 847-434-4000, or by Faxing 847-434-8000.
